SJEM Organizers

In-School Organizer trainings are 2 day workshops running roughly 9:30am-5pm Saturday and Sunday. The training is designed to incorporate your real-life work situation to make it as realistic as possible and help tailor it to your needs. The point is to help you think through organizing at your job, or in organizing campiagns currently happening in the Twin Cities. The tactics taught are based on successful organizing work over the last decade in the US and abroad, and the training is constantly being adapted to incorporate the latest experience of direct action and organizing.

Coffee, breakfast and lunch will be provided both days, paid for by the IWW and a $10 registration fee (no one turned away for lack of funds). A handbook will be provided to record notes and fill in questions that are answered as the training progresses. Please let us know ASAP if you have childcare needs for the training so that we can accommodate them! The trainings take place at the IWW Office at 2 E Franklin Ave, Ste 1, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
